Well the good news is that we are completely moved into our new place and although there are still boxes and tubs and lots to do, this place already feels so much more like a home. It could simply be the 500 extra square feet we have, it could be the features of a fireplace and bookcases, or it could simply be that baby E is getting close to being here and I can finally start setting up the nursery.
Thankfully, Jeff's mom, dad, and two brothers came down to help us move. We could NOT have done it with out them. I didn't realize just how restricted I am at doing things. I am not one to sit on the sidelines and watch others work, but I simply couldn't do what I normally do. Duh right....well that was a realization for me. We are settling in quite quickly at our new home, but still lots to do.
After moving on Saturday and family leaving on Sunday and starting to unpack on Sunday, we started our birthing and labor classes on Monday night for 3 hours. It has been a whirlwind of the last two months. We are 7 weeks out and I am getting soooo nervous because nothing is ready yet. I am dilegently trying to get all our laundry and home settled so that I can focus on the nursery, but i'm nervous she will come early and I won't be ready for her.
In the midst of all of that, preggo brain has kicked in high gear as i have managed to lock my keys in jeff's car and he has had to come bail me out....I (we) failed to be prepared for our first birth class.....hopefully I will have a little down time before baby gets here!
I'll post pictures soon of the new place and the nursery....which is getting painted this weekend....hopefully the crib will be up and everything will be ready....let's see if this mama has the energy left in her to do this.
